About the role
As our new Assistant Financial Controller, you’ll help keep Scoro’s finance operations accurate and reliable. You’ll work on reporting, analysis, and compliance while also contributing to exciting finance projects. This role gives you the chance to grow your expertise through hands-on experience and make a real impact on how we run our numbers.
You’ll join our 5-person finance team based in Tallinn and report directly to the Lead Financial Controller. In this close-knit team, you’ll collaborate daily with motivated colleagues who value precision and teamwork.
This is a great opportunity if you have some experience in accounting or finance, enjoy working with numbers, and have a sharp eye for detail. To succeed in this role, you’ll also need to be comfortable working in English.

What will you do
- Contribute to internal and external financial and metrics reporting.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions.
- Monitor division cost budgets to help drive effective financial management.
- Process purchase, travel, and expense documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support payroll processes by preparing initial data for submission and reviewing calculations.
- Ensure timely and accurate calculation of commissions for both Scoro employees and Partners.
- Take part in a variety of accounting, reporting, and controlling tasks that keep our finance function running smoothly.

You’d be a great fit if you have
- At least 1 year of professional experience in Accounting/Finance, OR you hold a university degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting.
- Great attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Passion for numbers and spreadsheets.
- Solid computer skills, including Excel.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Proactive attitude with strong learning capability.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Team player attitude with the ability to work independently.
Bonus points for:
- Experience working at a Big 4 or other international audit company.
- Experience with different accounting functions and the month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Working in an international environment or study abroad experience.
