Role into
We’re looking for a commercially minded, strategic leader to strengthen and expand our Business Development function and drive the next stage of growth. As Head of Business Development, you’ll set the direction, priorities, and performance standards for a remote BD team of 4 BDRs and 1 BD Team Lead.
Your focus will be on refining how we work, ensuring our outbound strategy is executed effectively, aligning the team with company-wide go-to-market plans, and making sure every part of the BD function contributes to a strong pipeline.
This is a UK-based role, fully remote, with occasional travel to London and other Scoro locations for team sessions, customer events, and market-related activities.
It reports directly to the VP of Sales.

What will you do?
- Business Development Ownership: Set the strategic direction, structure, and performance standards for our Business Development function. Align team priorities with company objectives to ensure consistent, high-quality pipeline generation.
- Outbound Strategy & Optimisation: Oversee the execution of scalable, multi-channel outbound programmes (email, ABM, targeted campaigns). Ensure processes, tools, and messaging are effective and continuously refined.
- Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop the people driving our business development function.
- Partnerships: Own and grow strategic partnerships while identifying and activating new partner opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product to coordinate go-to-market initiatives, ensuring messaging and targeting are consistent across all channels.
- Performance Analysis & Insights: Monitor pipeline metrics, assess campaign performance, and provide actionable insights to drive ongoing improvement and efficiency.
- Strategic Market Focus: Identify priority markets, segments, and opportunities to ensure BD efforts are concentrated where they will have the most tremendous impact.

You’d be a great fit if you have:
- At least 3+ years’ experience leading a Business Development function in a B2B SaaS business.
- Proven success in scaling an established BD function and delivering high-quality pipeline growth and new business revenue.
- Experience managing outbound lead generation strategies.
- Understanding of how BD integrates with broader go-to-market motions, including ABM and partnership initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- A commercial mindset with a hunger for growth.
- Data-driven, highly organised, and confident working cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, and Product.
Bonus points for:
- Experience working with our target industries — creative industries and professional services (e.g., marketing, advertising, architecture, consultancy).
- Familiarity with accounting, ERP, or Professional Services Automation (PSA) software ecosystems.
- Experience with building and managing partnership relationships.
